in 1978 with the support of Dr. Konopka's friends and colleagues to honor her many achievements in the field of adolescence and youth over thirty years of service to the University. The lectureship carries on the important tradition of integrating theory and practice and humanizing our services for children and youth. I want to call on Dr. Robert Blum, Director of the Adolescent Health Program , to introduce our speaker today. And following the presentation and the question and answer period, we will have a very special event. I'll keep you posted on that.
